The work was known to several of the early church fathers who rejected it. For the filled vessels are those which are customarily used for anointing. The form of it is the world, that which it served. It is invisible. In their heart, the living book of the Living was manifest, the book which was written in the thought and in the mind of the Father and, from before the foundation of the All, is in that incomprehensible part of him. Certainly, if these things have happened to each one of us, it is fitting for us, surely, to think about the All so that the house may be holy and silent for unity.
But that which is the deficient is filled again by the perfect Father. Indeed, how shall one hear if a name has not been uttered? Since the perfection of all is in the father, it is necessary for all to ascend to him. Now their works lie scattered. He became a path for those who went astray and knowledge for those who were ignorant, a discovery for those who sought, and a support for those who tremble, a purity for those who were defiled.
First, God is sovereign over all things. Moreover, while saying new things, speaking about what is in the heart of the Father, he proclaimed the faultless word. They were glorified and they gave glory. Truth appeared; all its emanations recognized it.

This unraveling happens as he began to ask questions that did not have satisfactory answers. It did not become light beside the father. The ointment is the pity of the Father, who will have mercy on them.
For by the fruits one knows the things that The truth of the Gospel book yours, that they are the children of the Father, and one knows his aroma, that you originate from the grace of his countenance. He abases himself even unto death, though he is clothed in eternal life. He inspired them with that which is in the mind, while doing his will.
Since this incompleteness came about because they did not know the father, from the moment when they know the father, incompleteness will cease to exist.
His love took bodily form around it. Light spoke through his mouth, The truth of the Gospel book his voice brought forth life. It is not a "gospel" in the sense of an account of the works of Jesus of Nazarethbut is better understood as a homily.
They knew that they stem from him as children from a perfect man. If a breath is taken, it is usually hot. It chooses them and also takes the character of all and purifies them, causing them to return to the father, to the mother, Jesus of the utmost sweetness.
For this reason, the compassionate, faithful Jesus was patient in his sufferings until he took that book, since he knew that his death meant life for many. The book contains eleven chapters along with a preface and two appendices. For this reason, the Father loved his aroma; and it manifests itself in every place; and when it is mixed with matter, he gives his aroma to the light; and into his rest he causes it to ascend The truth of the Gospel book every form and in every sound.
In time unity will make the spaces complete. The name, then, is that of the father, just as the name of the father is the beloved son. There is a rise of Gnosticism today, including a resurgence of Gnostic churches. On the basis of literary and conceptual affinities between this text and the exiguous fragments of Valentinus, some scholars have suggested that the Gnostic teacher himself was the author.
John's language and tone emphasizes the focus of his book. All the spaces are his emanations. What exists in him is knowledge, which was revealed so that forgetfulness might be destroyed and that the father might be known.
Thus each space which, on its part, is in the Father comes from the existent one, who, on his part, has established it from the nonexistent. But they rest in him who rests, without wearying themselves or becoming confused about truth. Allusions to documents known from the NT, such as Matthew Tuckett and certain Pauline Epistles Menardplace the date well into the 2d century, a period that harmonizes with the rising influence of Valentinus.
But those who are to be taught, the living who are inscribed in the book of the living, learn for themselves, receiving instructions from the father, turning to him again.
Additionally, some composers have made settings of the Passion as portrayed in the gospel, most notably the one composed by Johann Sebastian Bachalthough some verses are borrowed from Matthew.
